Robbie Phillips is a professional climber and YouTuber.

When Nate saw Robbie had a new van, he knew he had to get a tour of it shot for his channel! It’s a really cool camper van, featuring a fixed double bed, a convertible extra single bed, dining area, second table desk area, hot water on demand, and even a gas heated drying room for winter climbing gear!

Things / Ideas I took away from this:

  • Love the overall layout of the van – clean and simple – definitely what I am thinking of for my van (even though mine is smaller)
  • Don’t like the bulkhead idea
  • Like the sliding doors on the cupboards
  • Like the Cubie hole for the hot water access – with magnets
  • The LED strip lights under cupboards and in the inserts for the bed is lovely attention to detail
  • The second bed / sofa area is exactly what I was dreaming of in my van
  • Really like the idea of the skylights
  • Bed lamps look like a must for me. Wonder if there are USB versions – so can choose which side of the bed is ‘top’ due to uneven parking etc
